Finding a Mentor

Finding a Mentor is hard. I have been on a quest for a mentor for a couple of weeks now and I have gone through several channels to find someone. First, I contacted non-profit agencies filled out an application for a mentor and patiently waiting for an email or a phone call. As of today, this method has not worked for me. Second, I got on the App “meet up” and tried to find people around my area who has had experience in selling with Amazon FBA and found two people. One person started the conversation with me but when I started questioning how he has ran his business, he just stopped talking to me. The second never responded to me. And then, as I was driving to work, this morning I had the thought that if I wanted someone to give to me, then maybe I need to give to someone else. I then went on Volunteermatch.com and as I was browsing different charities I could volunteer my time too, I found micromentor.com. The website was looking for Mentors to help Start-Ups!! I quickly went to the website, filled out my profile, and within 2 hours, I had connected with someone who has experience in e-commerce. It’s funny how when you are well intentioned and persistent, good things come to you.
